Four Moreno Valley students treated for possible drug overdose

Fireplace officers rushed to a Moreno Valley center college Wednesday to analyze the potential overdose of 4 college students who had ingested an unknown substance.

The incident was reported shortly after 11:30 a.m. within the 23000 block of Eucalyptus Avenue, in accordance with the Riverside County Fireplace Division. Emergency responders arrived at Sunnymead Center College and handled 4 college students for unknown signs.

Three college students have been transported to a neighborhood hospital and a fourth was handled on the scene, in accordance with officers.

There was no quick details about the scholar’s ages or signs.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Division mentioned they responded to a name of a potential overdose involving college students who ingested an unknown substance. The incident is below investigation.

College officers didn’t initially report that any college students have been overdosing, in accordance with a Moreno Valley Unified College District spokesperson.

Officers requested medical consideration after college students consumed an unknown substance on campus, spokesperson Anahi Velasco mentioned in an e mail. Dad and mom of the affected college students have been contacted earlier than they have been transported to the hospital.

That is the most recent in a sequence of scares at native faculties involving potential drug overdoses. In close by Los Angeles, a number of teenagers have overdosed from potential fentanyl-laced capsules, prompting officers to inventory campuses with the overdose reversal drug naloxone.
