Huntington Park law enforcement officials shot and killed a person wielding a butcher knife Thursday afternoon, based on the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Division.
About 3:40 p.m. Thursday, officers responded to a report of a stabbing on the 2400 block of Slauson Avenue in Huntington Park. The sufferer mentioned he was stabbed by a person in a wheelchair and instructed officers which approach he fled, the Sheriff’s Division mentioned in a press release.
Huntington Park law enforcement officials discovered the suspect on the 1900 block of Slauson Avenue and tried to detain him. The person drew a foot-long butcher knife, the Sheriff’s Division mentioned, and tried to throw it on the officers. They responded through the use of a Taser on him no less than twice.
