Newport Information Police Chief Steve Drew stated authorities weren’t alerted to the tip.

“Our coronary heart goes out to our son’s trainer and we pray for her therapeutic within the aftermath of such an unimaginable tragedy as she selflessly served our son and the kids within the college,” the kid’s household stated Thursday in a press release.

“Our household has at all times been dedicated to accountable gun possession and maintaining firearms out of the attain of youngsters,” the assertion added, although it didn’t elaborate on the way it was “secured.”
