The Division of Homeland Safety is bringing on a non-public regulation agency to help with potential impeachment proceedings in opposition to Secretary of Homeland Safety Alejandro Mayorkas.
“The Division of Homeland Safety has retained exterior counsel to assist make sure the Division’s very important mission will not be interrupted by the unprecedented, unjustified, and partisan impeachment efforts by some Members of Congress, who’ve already taken steps to provoke proceedings,” a DHS spokesperson informed Fox Information.
The spokesperson continued, “DHS will proceed prioritizing its work to guard our nation from terrorism, reply to pure disasters, and safe our borders whereas responding appropriately to the over 70 Congressional committees and subcommittees which have oversight of DHS.”
