A San Bernardino County sheriff’s deputy shot a suspect inside a house in Grand Terrace after responding to a report of an assault Wednesday morning, based on regulation enforcement officers.
At 10:27 a.m., deputies responded to a report of an assault with a lethal weapon within the 21800 block of Grand Terrace Street. The town of Grand Terrace sits on the 215 Freeway between Riverside and San Bernardino.
“When deputies arrived, they went into the house,” mentioned sheriff’s spokesperson Gloria Huerta, including that when inside the house, an officer shot the suspect.
The “suspect was taken to the hospital together with the preliminary sufferer” of the assault, Huerta mentioned. The suspect was not recognized.
Each the suspect and sufferer had been nonetheless hospitalized as of Wednesday afternoon. The deputy who shot the suspect “was not damage and the investigation is ongoing,” Huerta mentioned.
