A prosecutor stated Thursday that no fees shall be filed in opposition to a suburban Chicago police detective who shot and killed a theft suspect who had wounded him in a shootout.
Lombard Detective Ryan Postel was legally justified in taking pictures suspect Pierre Thompson whereas investigating the theft at a retail retailer on Dec. 8, DuPage County State’s Legal professional Robert Berlin introduced.

Thompson was shot in the correct chest, the higher left arm and in the correct again, Berlin stated.
Whereas reponding, Postal yelled “fingers” at Thompson to get him to indicate his fingers, however Thompson raised a pistol, fired six photographs at Postal and his companion and continued to run, Berlin stated. Postal then opened his door and returned hearth whereas yelling he had been shot. Postal was struck in his proper leg and had surgical procedure for his accidents.
Lombard is about 20 miles west of Chicago.
