Three political marketing campaign employees have been indicted on costs stemming from a scheme the place authorities say one provided $20 grocery store present playing cards to voters in return for letting her full their mail-in ballots.

BALLOT PROBLEMS IN PENNSYLVANIA’S LUZERNE COUNTY EXAMINED

The Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Workplace introduced Thursday {that a} county grand jury indicted Ana Camilo, 62, of Perth Amboy, on two counts of bribery, illegal possession of a poll, try and solid an unlawful poll and election legislation violation.

Two different Perth Amboy residents — Annet Sanchez, 52, and Maria Peralta, 60 — have been every indicted on a cost of retaliation towards a witness. They allegedly harassed the one that supplied info regarding Camilo’s involvement within the voter fraud scheme, in accordance with prosecutors.

It wasn’t clear Thursday if any of the marketing campaign employees had retained attorneys. Authorities mentioned the three don’t have anything to do with the county or metropolis election workplaces or operations.
