Former Los Angeles Mayor Richard Riordan, who guided town by means of the aftermath of the Rodney King riots and the 1994 Northridge earthquake, was remembered immediately as a person with an indomitable spirit
who understood management and took motion to deal with the wants of town and of its individuals.
In a packed memorial Mass on the Cathedral of Our Girl of the Angels,
household, pals, elected officers and Angelenos remembered Riordan’s life and legacy.
“I’m really amazed. Though a lot of you listed below are strangers to every
different and to us, we’re all right here for a similar cause to honor a person whose life touched so many individuals in numerous and fantastic methods,’’ stated Mary Beth, Riordan’s daughter.
