Randi Weingarten crushed for pushing school lockdowns in live debate: ‘No remorse whatsoever’


Randi Weingarten, one of the crucial highly effective academics union bosses within the nation, was admonished Thursday on CNN for supporting faculty lockdowns.

“I needed to train them at dwelling,” he added, referring to his 4 youngsters. “My spouse needed to train them at dwelling. I’m shocked at what you may have stated this week about your claiming to have needed to reopen faculties,” Jennings stated, talking on to Weingarten.

Weingarten precipitated indignation Wednesday after she testified earlier than the Choose Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic to handle her union’s function in influencing public coverage on faculty lockdowns.

Jennings continued to criticize Weingarten for her rhetoric on COVID faculty lockdowns, particularly throughout 2020.
