A canine was shot and killed by Los Angeles Police Division officers after it bit somebody Tuesday morning at a homeless encampment within the Vermont-Slauson neighborhood of South Los Angeles, police mentioned.
Officers responded to a radio name about an individual being bit by a canine close to the intersection of Vermont Avenue and West seventieth Avenue at 10:24 a.m., in response to the LAPD. Police shot the canine, and it was declared lifeless on the scene, an LAPD spokesperson mentioned.
Footage from KABC-TV Channel 7 confirmed white cardboard overlaying a canine that gave the impression to be chained to a pole.
