Man arrested during Friday’s L.A. City Council meeting


One man was arrested throughout a Los Angeles Metropolis Council assembly Friday morning after protesters interrupted Councilmember Kevin de León’s Cinco de Mayo presentation.

The person, who was not recognized, was arrested for battery on a police officer and obstructing a public enterprise institution, in keeping with LAPD Sgt. Dennis Clark, who’s assigned to the constructing.
