Almost seven months after the San Jose Fireplace Division started an investigation into why firefighters allowed a bikini-clad girl in heels to hitch them for a ride-along close to a strip joint, the fireplace chief stated in a memo to the Metropolis Council that the crew had allowed the lady to experience contained in the firetruck as a result of “she persevered.”

The memo from Fireplace Chief Robert Sapien Jr. was launched Tuesday by the town of San Jose in response to public uproar that erupted after a video posted Oct. 6 on social media confirmed the lady, sporting a white bikini, stepping out of the firetruck and into the Pink Poodle strip membership.
